6.1.2.80 Reviews - Income Streams

Summary

This section contains information on when an income stream must be reviewed.

Where there is indexation of income stream payments, the gross income has to be increased by the relevant factor from the indexation date. For example, an income support recipient receives a pension that is indexed every 6 months. The gross income assessed under the income test must be reassessed at the time of indexation every 6 months.

For all income streams that have an assessed asset value, they must be reviewed:

  • 6 monthly, if more than one payment is made annually, OR
  • 12 monthly, if only one payment is made annually.
