2.5 Timeframe to lodge application

When can an application for redress be lodged?

Applications to access the National Redress Scheme must be lodged before 30 June 2027. This allows time for the Operator (1.1.O.30) to make a determination on an application before the Scheme ends on 30 June 2028. A person may submit a late application for redress if the Operator determines that exceptional circumstances exist to justify an extension of the application period.
