10.12.12.20 Termination of the Agreement with Cyprus
Termination
Article 20 of the Agreement with Cyprus covers what happens should the Agreement terminate. The Agreement remains in force for 12 months following the date on which either Australia or Cyprus advises the other, through diplomatic channels, that they intend terminating the Agreement.
Should the Agreement terminate, those people who were being paid, or had lodged a claim and were entitled at the time, will continue to receive that benefit.
