10.12.8.10 Rate Calculation - Agreement with Cyprus

Basis for calculation process

Article 9 of the Agreement with Cyprus, when read with social security law, determines the rate of Australian benefit payable under the Agreement. There are 2 different methods of calculating the rate:

the proportional rate (outside Australia ) 10.1.9.20,
the direct deduction rate (inside Australia) 10.1.9.60.
