10.14.4.10 Who Can Lodge Claims under the Agreement with Germany

Who can claim

The Agreement with Germany contains all the claim lodgement provisions discussed in 10.1.4 Claiming Payments Using an Agreement.

The Agreement with Germany allows for third country lodgement. This means residents of Australia or Germany or a country with which Australia has a current social security agreement and which has agreed to accept claims under Australia's other agreements, can lodge claims for Australian benefits under the Agreement.
