Termination of the Agreement

Article 31 of the Agreement covers what happens should the Agreement be terminated. In that case, the Agreement will remain in force for 12 months following the date on which either Australia or Belgium notifies the other through diplomatic channels that it intends to terminate the Agreement.

Should the Agreement terminate, it will continue to apply to those people who were being paid, or had lodged a claim and were entitled at the time of termination.
