  • ACCS (transition to work)
  • additional 12 weeks.

ACCS (transition to work)

To be eligible for ACCS (transition to work) an individual (1.1.I.90) must meet the eligibility requirements for CCS and specific ACCS (transition to work) eligibility requirements. An individual must meet the ACCS (transition to work) eligibility requirements at the start of the CCS fortnight (1.1.C.10) to which a session of care (1.1.S.40) relates.

Additional 12 weeks

An individual may be eligible for these additional 12 weeks during a nil rate period, even if their income exceeds the CCS lower income threshold during this time.

To be eligible for an additional 12 weeks of ACCS (transition to work) during an income support nil rate period, as a result of employment, the individual must have stopped receiving income support payment less than 12 weeks ago and meet all of the following requirements:

  • has been in receipt of ACCS (transition to work) in the fortnight prior to the commencement of the nil rate period (3.1.12)
  • has been in paid work in the fortnight the sessions of care are provided
  • did not cease to receive income support payment solely due to becoming a member of a couple (1.1.M.50) which resulted in the individual no longer being qualified for or meeting the income/assets test requirements.
