10.12.3.30 Equality of Treatment - Agreement with Cyprus

Equality of treatment

Article 4 of the Agreement with Cyprus provides that people to whom the Agreement applies will be treated equally in the application of the laws of Australia and Cyprus regarding eligibility for and payment of benefits.

Equality of treatment does not apply to people who are present in the territory of Australia or Cyprus illegally.
