10.16.3.20 Benefits Payable under the Agreement with Chile

Benefits payable

Article 2 of the Agreement lists the Australian and Chilean benefits covered by the Agreement.

Australian benefits

The Australian benefits covered are:

age pension, and
disability support pension for the severely disabled.

Chilean benefits

The Chilean benefits under the Sistema de Capitalización Individual (new system) and the Social Insurance Schemes under the Instituto de Normalización Previsional (old system) covered are:

old-age benefit,
invalidity benefit, and
survivor benefit.
