10.17.6 Requirement to Claim a Foreign Benefit - Agreement with Croatia

Requirement to claim a benefit from Croatia

The Agreement with Croatia does not contain special provisions to make it compulsory for people claiming Australian benefits under the Agreement to also claim a benefit from Croatia. However, all claimants under the Agreement are required to take reasonable action to claim any entitlement from Croatia. This requirement is covered by the CFP legislation explained in 7.3.1.
