People covered

Article 3 of the Agreement specifies to whom the Agreement applies. That is:

  • in relation to Australia, people who are or have been residents of Australia, and
  • in relation to Switzerland:
    • people who are nationals of Australia or Switzerland (a Swiss national or an Australian citizen) as well as to their family members and survivors, and
    • refugees and stateless persons (including their family members and survivors) who live in either country.
