10.30.8.30 Australian Working Life Residence - Agreement with Hungary

Australian working life residence

Article 1 of the Agreement defines period of Australian working life residence as that defined in Australian legislation, but does not include periods deemed to be AWLR by virtue of Article 13 of the Agreement. This means that the definition of AWLR in the SS(IntAgree)Act Part 3, Division 2 applies when calculating the rate of pension payable. Australian working life residence is the period of Australian residence between turning 16 and reaching age pension age.
