10.31.10.20 Confidentiality - Agreement with Latvia

Confidentiality

Article 17 of the Agreement provides that information exchanged by Australia and Latvia is confidential and can only be used for the purposes of implementing the Agreement or applicable social security laws.

All information received by Australia is subject to the same privacy principles as applies to information obtained under domestic law. Information received by Latvia is similarly subject to Latvian privacy legislation.
