A correspondence nominee is appointed under SS(Admin)Act section 123C. This includes, for example, electing that the principal enters into or exits VIM.

For more information on the role of correspondence nominees see 8.5.2 and the responsibilities of correspondence nominees see 8.5.3.

Act reference: SS(Admin)Act section 123A Definitions, section 123C Appointment of correspondence nominee, section 123H(4) Actions of correspondence nominee on behalf of benefit recipient, section 123S Right of nominee to attend with principal
