11.1.6.20 Vouchers, stored value cards & accounts

Vouchers, stored value cards & accounts

In the case of vouchers, stored value cards (e.g. BasicsCard), crediting an account and transfers to an account, the delegate needs to be satisfied that the goods and services that may be acquired using the vouchers, stored value cards or accounts do not provide a person with access to excluded goods and services.

The range of goods and services which may be acquired by a person using a voucher, stored value card or account depends on the specific nature of the voucher, stored value card or account and the nature of the relevant store. These items may be restricted to a range of goods and services that is narrower than simply excluded goods and services.
