12.2.6 Balance of the qualified portion

Definition

The 'balance of the qualified portion' is the qualified portion of a person's welfare payment, less any authorised deductions or set-off amounts (12.4.2).

The balance of the qualified portion is the amount that is paid into the person's BasicsCard bank account.
