1.1.S.70 Social security entitlement

Definition

A social security entitlement is defined by reference to the SSAct to mean:

  • jobseeker payment
  • youth allowance
  • austudy payment
  • age pension
  • parenting payment
  • disability support pension, and
  • carer payment.

Social security entitlements are those payments for which an advance payment may be payable.
