1.1.L.30 Late starting course (YA, Austudy, PES)

Definition

For the purposes of YA, Austudy, and PES, a late starting course is:

  • a course of education that

    • lasts more than 30 weeks, including vacations, AND
    • starts on or after 1 April but before 1 July, or
    • starts after 31 July

OR

  • an articulated short course sequence whose

    • length of courses (including vacations) add up to more than 30 weeks, AND
    • first course starts on or after 1 April but before 1 July, or
    • first course starts after 31 July.
