Current rates

This table shows the current maximum rates for RAA (1.1.R.150) in dollars per fortnight (pf).

Partnered - illness separated couple (1.1.I.04), respite care couple (1.1.R.240), or partner imprisoned (1.1.P.85) 18.20
Each dependent child 7.30

Where a dependant is an FTB or regular care (RC) child of 2 people who qualify for RAA payments, both people will receive the dependent rate of RAA for that child.

Indexation (1.1.I.100)

These rates are not indexed.

Timing of payments

If a person qualifies and the payment is payable, payments are made fortnightly in arrears with the person's main payment.
