DSP- Review of Income from Supported Employment

Customers undertaking supported employment (1.1.S.430)

As with all DSP customers, those undertaking supported employment are required to notify the occurrence, or likely occurrence, of an event or change of circumstances. When a DSP customer commences supported employment or an existing supported employee is granted DSP, the workshop management should be asked to notify of any change in the employee's earnings or termination of his or her employment.

Reviews of workshop income for DSP customers should be undertaken 6 monthly. All income reviews for a given workshop's employees should be conducted at the same time, by requesting all relevant information and quoting section 192 of the SS(Admin)Act as the authority for the request.
