1.1.T.45 Temporarily absent from a care situation

Usage

This definition applies to all payments subject to assets testing provisions.

Definition

A person is temporarily absent from a care situation (1.1.C.25) IF their right to accommodation in the care situation is retained during their absence. This definition applies irrespective of where the person lives during the absence, including the principal home.
