1.1.C.50 Change of assessment

Definition

COA is an administrative option available to parents (1.1.P.10) of a child support case (1.1.C.80) who believe their formula assessment (1.1.F.20) does not reflect the special circumstances of their case.

The change of assessment process allows the Registrar to examine the broader financial circumstances of both parents and determine if a departure from assessment (1.1.D.40) would be appropriate.

For further information on COA refer to 2.6.
