1.1.D.210 Disposal of assets

This definition applies to all payments subject to assets testing.

Definition

Disposal of assets is also referred to as assets deprivation. Assets deprivation occurs where a person disposes of an asset (1.1.A.290) and in return, the person receives nil, or inadequate consideration in money or money's worth.
