1.1.F.160 Foreign income (dependent YA)

Definition

For the purposes of parental means testing YA, foreign income includes:

  • any income amount earned, derived or received from sources outside Australia (1.1.A.320), OR
  • periodical payments or benefits by the way of gifts or allowances from a source outside Australia.

Note: Under the YA parental income test (4.2.8.10) target foreign income (1.1.T.05) is assessed.
