1.1.V.60 Vocational training (MOB)

Definition

For the purpose of standard rate MOB, vocational training is:

  • training for a profession or occupation that will assist the recipient to find gainful employment, OR
  • training known as independent living skills or life skills training.

For the purpose of higher rate MOB, vocational training is:

  • any training for a profession or occupation included in an agreement between the recipient and the recipient's employment services provider for work of 15 hours or more per week at relevant minimum wages (1.1.R.133) or above.
