1.1.E.20 Education, training or treatment (other than treatment in hospital) (CA)

Definition

For the purposes of CA (child), education, training or treatment (other than treatment in hospital) refers to the provision of these services for a child with a disability (1.1.C.144) during a temporary absence from the family home. The terms 'education', 'training' and 'treatment' each have the ordinary meaning of these words except that 'treatment' means treatment other than that provided by a hospital.
